Bonnie, how shocking and what an experience. But we live and we learn.
My heart breaks for the raccoon but also am immensely proud that Zulu has not forgotten his natural wild instincts spite of domestication.
I live in a city and other than human beings who are vicious and malicious, I have had no interactions with animals, especially wild ones. Praise God that you are all ok and praying also for the continued safety of your little family.
    God bless !

Thanks Susie – I’m very grateful Sulu emerged unharmed and sorry the raccoon had to die – I am proud of Zulu for having the endurance and refusing to give up in spite of the long fight. Zulu definitely much tougher than he looks!!
