No more premium parking receipts!
Practical jokes and good natured fun abound across the internet and in person especially in the realm of the advertising world on this day referred to as April Fools’ Day. I love exploring the different examples of creativity from the various sources across the internet.
I looked at all sorts of media splashes across the web and found a number that sparked my interest. My favourite of all maybe because I’ve received a ‘premium parking receipt’ before would have to be from Tesla!
Tesla Motors Ticket Avoidance Mode: To avoid parking tickets whenever and wherever possible, Tesla Motors next software update will include a Ticket Avoidance Mode. This mode will detect oncoming parking police, enacting a number of avoidance systems – including autonomous driving – to keep the ticket away from the vehicle.
I’d love to hear your favourite April Fool’s advertisement/campaign from 2015. Do share!
I thought this was really funny since I work in transportation and parking is a HUGE controversial issue. In Santa Monica the traffic enforcement is very diligent so it’s a big game to avoid them.
Lots of revenue from those parking tickets and they sure are diligent in enforcement -I thought it was pretty funny too and I just really think it would be funny to watch a real parking enforcement person try and give a ticket to a moving car … but that will just open the door for moving parking tickets next :)
Hi Bonny,
Nice Joke and good if they can enforce it, right?
I had no April Fool experiences myself, so none to share.
Happy Easter to you !
Susie
Thanks, & Happy Easter to you too
